Beats & Bars (Youth Music Program)
Navarro created Beats & Bars in November of 2015 at Little Village Lawndale High School on the Southwest side of Chicago. Beats and Bars is an after-school music program which includes songwriting, music production and audio engineering. Navarro mentors the teens throughout the music making process and executive produces the projects. The teens collaborate in creating original pieces of Hip-Hop music and learning the entrepreneurial aspect of the music business. Navarro plans on expanding Beats & Bars to various schools and neighborhoods throughout Chicago.
